The first lesson.
During Christmas I started my first tune on Alto Sax
The music Silent Night br Franz Gru.

The excellent web site offering free sheet music
http://www.8notes.com

The video on Youtube
by Chris Fleischer, Alto Sax- Silent Night
Helped me to play along.

My saxophone teacher Jennifer Palfreyman listend  and helped
to improve my playing.

Most of my notes were the same length and not reading the music.

Jennfer advised tonguing on the first note and the two A A in bar 3.
The GG in bar 4.
The  E E and the F# semiquaver.

The Christmas Carol is a lovely starting piece of music and fairly easy.

My next piece of music I wanted to learn Moonglow on Alto Sax
again on Youtube I loved the version recorded on Queen Mary.

RMS Queen Mary-Benny Goodman 'Moonglow'.
From: Chiswick2
A great tribute to the RMS Queen Mary set to the Benny Goodman classic 'Moonglow'.
Chiswick2  worked really hard on this video and brought back the nostalgic atmosphere.
