Hey Tony
Thanks for the good words. I've been working for a year now on developing BandPad and I'm happy to hear that it is useful.

1. In web, opening a link to a tune opens a new window, the jukebox remains in the original window this is why I didn't add a home button. In tablets app the score window have a "back button" for returning to the jukebox. I'm using the new window feature a lot with my students. I'm using chrome and before the lesson I open all he windows I need. Check that and tell me if you think a home button is necessary, maybe it will be in the next version.

2. I'm now concentrating on beginners level (3 first years) and most students start with alt sax, this is way tenor is not there. In my next round I will have: Tenor Sax, Baritone in Treble Clef, Recorder in German fingering and French horn in Bb.

3. I loved your site and will be happy to embed BandPad in it, I can be done as a link or as an embedded code directly to tunes you select.

4.  Any song, etude you think I should add drop me a msg, at the moment I'm preparing Christmas songs, will be done next week

Amit Gur Talks about the latest version of  BandPad

We're soon going to launch BandPad release version and here are some of the new features and tunes created in the last months. LiveScore technology was upgraded to use the computer microphone. This new features will be available:

The "Trophy Contest" will use the microphone for real time feedback of student playing proficiency by colouring the played notes red and green.  Students will collect trophies to the trophy case as part of their learning progress. You can watch it HERE and test it HERE

The New Tuner will feature real time tuner through the microphone. Transposed instruments will see the transposed note (Trumpet playing C will see C and not Bb).  HERE is a test version. Click the tuner icon in the upper bar.
The Tuner and the Trophy contest don?t work on Internet Explorer.

We're working on new beginner?s repertoire that will enrich the experience of instrumental education and create a fun and encouraging learning process. Here are some examples you can print and use.

Chicken Jump is a 4 notes tune using the blues style to create a happy and simple rhythms for beginners.

Eights And Quarters is an etude aimed to teach eights notes with a reggae play-along.

Village Dance is 3 notes; quarters only, simple music for the first steps in instrumental music, adding a banjo style play-along made it popular with students. We're making a lot of this kind these days.

Bye Bye Blues was made for more experience students. Here were using the major blues scale to create a one octave range tune with bluesy feeling.

These are only examples of the new BandPad repertoire coming soon. We're also including:
- Teacher account with assignment list for students and personal signature on scores.
- Improved support for mobile and tablets with our App "BandPad".
- Help pages with videos and much more.

See You Soon
