Hi I'm new to this forum. I was a pro trombonist for 50 years until my lip stopped responding the way I like in to. I've been on tenor sax for 6 months now and find I can control the sound OK despite the difficulties on trombone. As a matter of interest (I hope) I opted not to fold my lower lip over my teeth and I'm busy building up that lower lip, especially.
I compiled a 59 page set of scales and exercises for trombone which was very well received here and in the USA so I've rewritten this in treble clef and I'm offering to send a PDF free of charge to anyone who would give me an email address.
Anyway, that's it for now, cheers JM.

P.S. I'm ready to sit in with bands now in the West Midlands area.
