Font files use vector graphics. Fortunately FontCreator Professional 6 by high-logic.com can import bitmap files including .png files created with Fingering Diagram Builder.

Impro-Visor (short for “Improvisation Advisor”) is a free music notation program designed to help jazz musicians compose and hear solos similar to ones that might be improvised.

Over the years the program has evolved and many new features have been added to the program.
Professor Bob Keller explains with a tutorial on YouTube.

Today I had a question from one of my music pals Peter.
Please can you help I needed to backup my Windows 7 music files on drive D:  to my new and freshly formatted Sata 500GB disc drive E:   I used Windows 7 copy and paste the copy has been running for 12 hours and is no where complete. Finally I aborted the copy.
Windows copy performance was about 30mb per second.
Can I do something to increase the copy speed?

Hi Peter yes we can speed this up almost 100 times faster.
Microsoft have a command line tool called robocopy
This can be launched from a command prompt.
ROBOCOPY D:\  E:\  /E /R: /MIR
This is very fast but is a little difficult to verify the copied files.

I would advise you to use RichCopy This simple tool was written by a Microsoft team named Derk Benisch and RICHCOPY Version 4.0 Developed by Ken [Kenzaburo] Tamaru

Corel Video Studio Won't Open (Windows 7 64bit) + Kaspersky anti virus.

My music friend phoned. After uninstalling Corel Video Studio then reinstalling from DVD. The same fault remained “Video Studio Won't Open”.
At his wits end in a panic asking me should I buy a new laptop?
No run a full anti virus scan overnight check your computer is clean.

1st.  My first question: What was the last event before the error occurred?
Turned out to be a Windows 7 Update.

2nd. My recommendation Free up some space on C: drive and do a system restore.
Another phone call from my friend.  No this did not solve the problem.

Yesterday I spent an afternoon trying to solve the problem.
My two favourite programs  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
https://www.malwarebytes.org
The free version worked well and removed all potential pups.
Next CCleaner from Piriform
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard

Ran a CCleaner registry clean found dozens of old installations c++ , active x, framework. I’m always apprehensive about registry cleans but after running CCleaner on hundreds of computers never found any problems.

Ran clean option to remove temp files.

Still Corel Video Studio Won't Open.
The fix needed was a software patch VSX8_HotFix_2.exe
4.65 MB (4,886,344 bytes)
The link to the URL is:
http://dwnld.videostudiopro.com/updates/x8/VSX8_HotFix_2.exe
This hotfix solved the problem a known problem with two of the Windows updates.
Further updates and patches can be found on the following link.
